KAYAM הוא פרוייקט מוזיקלי של צמד האחים קים ומייק ראוס, שמגדירים את המוזיקה שלהם כ "פלאפל פופ" - פיוז'ן של הז'אנרים מהם הם מושפעים, אובססיה קלה לגרגרי חומוס והרבה אהבה.
מייק וקים נהנו מחינוך והשפעות רב תרבותיות שנובעות מהעובדה שגדלו בין אנגליה, גרמניה וישראל. תאוות הנדודים של המשפחה תרמה והשפיעה על גישתם הייחודית ליצירת מוזיקה כמו גם לביצועים החיים.
קים שרה ומנגנת בנבל קלטי, ומייק מנגן בגיטרה, שר ובונה לופים על ידי שימוש ייחודי בגיטרה ככלי הקשה ומדי פעם גם בביטבוקס.

KAYAM - the musical duo of siblings Kim and Mike Rauss, are celebrating the release of their second album ‘’Omens’’.
KAYAM is the musical duo of siblings Kim and Mike Rauss, playing what they affectionately label Falafel Pop: a fusion of the genres they enjoy, a near obsession for chickpeas and much love.
The siblings had a cross-cultural upbringing, living at various stages in England, Germany and Israel, and the wanderlust they experienced in their early years has no doubt left an impression on their approach to music-making and live performance. Kim sings and plays the Celtic Harp. Mike plays the guitar, sings and builds rhythmic loops with guitar percussion and the occasional beatboxing.
KAYAM’s songs are atmospheric and compelling, offering room for improvisation on stage and a poised studio approach that makes their songs stand out.
